Ms. de la Garza, Teacher Librarian
Ms. de la Garza holds a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Pittsburgh, an M.Ed. from UCLA,
and an M.A. from CSULB. They live in Long Beach, CA and enjoy reading, bike riding, and exploring the
city with their family. Their favorite book in the Franklin Library is First Rule of Punk by Celia C. Pérez.

Mrs. Al-Arda holds a B.A. in Liberal Studies from Northern Arizona State University.
She loves gardening, reading, and going out for coffee with friends.
